PR-10-22 -- PSC Schedules March Hearings In AmerenUE Electric Rate Case

JEFFERSON CITY---The Missouri Public Service Commission is scheduled to hold formal evidentiary hearings starting in mid-March in an electric rate case filed by Union Electric Company d/b/a AmerenUE.
Hearings are scheduled for March 15-19, 2010 and March 22-26, 2010. These hearings will be held in Room 310 of the Governor Office Building, 200 Madison Street, Jefferson City. The Governor Office Building meets accessibility standards required by the Americans with Disabilities Act. The PSC will hold local public hearings to receive customer comment on the rate proposal. That schedule will be announced when dates, times and locations have been finalized.
Applications to intervene and participate in this case must be filed no later than August 17, 2009, with the Secretary of the Missouri Public Service Commission, P.O. Box 360, Jefferson City, Missouri 65102-0360.

On July 24, 2009, AmerenUE filed an electric rate case with the Missouri Public Service Commission seeking to increase annual electric revenues by approximately $401.5 million (18%). AmerenUE also seeks an interim rate increase of approximately $37.3 million (1.67%). The company is seeking to have that take effect October 1, 2009.
AmerenUE provides electric service to approximately 1.2 million customers in Missouri.
