PR-10-219 -- PSC Sets Intervention Deadline And Hearing Schedule in KCP&L Greater Missouri Operations Rate Case

JEFFERSON CITY -- The Missouri Public Service Commission established the deadline for those parties wishing to intervene and participate in an electric rate case filed by KCP&L Greater Missouri Operations Company.
Applications to intervene and participate in this case should be filed no later than July 1, 2010, with the Secretary of the Missouri Public Service Commission, P.O. Box 360, Jefferson City, Missouri 65102.
The Commission has scheduled hearings for January in the rate case. Hearings, to be held in Room 310 of the Governor Office Building in Jefferson City (200 Madison Street), are scheduled for January 18-21, and January 24-28, 2011.
The Governor Office Building meets accessibility standards required by the Americans with Disabilities Act. If any person needs additional accommodations to participate in the hearings, please call the Public Service Commission’s hotline at 1-800-392-4211 (voice) or Relay Missouri at 711 prior to the hearings.
On June 4, 2010, KCP&L Greater Missouri Operations Company filed an electric rate case with the Missouri Public Service Commission seeking to increase annual electric operating revenues by approximately $75.8 million in its MPS service territory and approximately $22.1 million in its L&P territory. According to a company press release, a typical Missouri residential customer would see a less than $15 per month increase in charges.
KCP&L Greater Missouri Operations Company serves approximately 310,000 electric customers in Missouri.
