For the average residential customer the proposed increase would be approximately 18 percent or $14 a month. AmerenUE’s filing also includes a request to continue its fuel adjustment clause. The filing also includes a request for an Environmental Cost Recovery Surcharge to collect the costs of mandated environmental upgrades on customers’ bills through another separately-identified surcharge outside a general rate case.
