PR-10-115 -- PSC Announces Additional Local Public Hearings In St. Louis In AmerenUE Electric Rate Case

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE -- JANUARY 13, 2010

JEFFERSON CITY---Due to an anticipated large turnout, the Missouri Public Service Commission will hold additional local public hearings in St. Louis at larger venues next week in the AmerenUE electric rate case. 

Some of the current local public hearing locations have limited seating.  The additional locations will accommodate more individuals who may want to attend.  

The Commission will also have PSC staff available from 9:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 21, 2010 at Wainwright State Office Building to answer questions from the public.  Members of the public may also record a video statement.    

The additional public hearings and the entire local public hearing schedule for the St. Louis area appears below. 

Tuesday, January 19, 2010: The Commission will hold an additional local public hearing at the Holiday Inn Southwest/Viking Conference Center, 10709 Watson Road, Salon A.  Question and answer session begins at 5:30 p.m.  The local public hearing will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. or until all of those who wish to testify have done so, whichever is sooner.

Wednesday, January 20, 2010: The Commission will hold two additional local public hearings at the University of Missouri-St. Louis, One University Boulevard, Millennium Student Center Building, North Campus, Century Room B & C.  The first question and answer session begins at 11:30 a.m.  The local public hearing will be held from noon until 4:00 p.m. or until all of those who wish to testify have done so, whichever is sooner. 

The second question and answer session begins at 5:30 p.m.  The local public hearing will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. or until all of those who wish to testify have done so, whichever is sooner.

The Commission will also establish a listening post at the Wainwright State Office Building, 111 N. 7^th Street from 9:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 21, 2010.  PSC staff will be present to answer questions from the public.  Members of the public may also record a video statement at this location.
