JEFFERSON CITY---Kansas City Power & Light Company and KCP&L Greater Missouri Operations Company have filed an application with the Missouri Public Service Commission seeking an accounting authority order (AAO) that would authorize deferred accounting treatment of its costs incurred as a result of complying with the Renewable Energy Standard. The Renewable Energy Standard (Proposition C) was passed into law on November 4, 2008.
Applications to intervene and participate in this case must be filed no later than January 21, 2010, with the Secretary of the Missouri Public Service Commission, P.O. Box 360, Jefferson City, Missouri 65102-0360 or electronically at www.psc.mo.gov.
