JEFFERSON CITY---The Missouri Public Service Commission has modified the hearing schedule in an electric rate case filed by KCP&L Greater Missouri Operations Company. Hearings originally scheduled for April 13-17, 2009 and April 20-24, 2009,
are now scheduled for May 11-15, 2009.
These hearings will be held in Room 310 of the Governor Office Building (200 Madison Street) in Jefferson City. The Governor Office Building meets accessibility standards required by the Americans with Disabilities Act. On September 5, 2008, KCP&L Greater Missouri Operations Company filed an electric rate case with the Missouri Public Service Commission. According to the application, the electric company seeks to increase its annual electric operating revenues by approximately $66 million in its MPS Division and by approximately $17.1 million in its L&P Division. According to the company’s press release, a typical Missouri residential customer would see an increase of $12.58 a month (MPS Division) and $10.03 a month (L&P Division).
KCP&L Greater Missouri Operations Company serves approximately 308,000 electric customers in Missouri.
