PR-09-203 -- PSC Sets Intervention Deadline In Electric Territorial Case

JEFFERSON CITY---The Empire District Electric Company (Empire) and White River Valley Electric Cooperative (White River) have filed a joint application with the Missouri Public Service Commission seeking Commission approval of an addendum to their territorial agreement. The addendum would allow White River to provide electric service to a single lot that is currently situated in Empire’s service territory. The lot is located in Lake Taneycomo Acres in Branson.
According to the application, the addendum to the territorial agreement will not require the transfer of any facilities or customers.
Applications to intervene and participate in this case must be filed no later than June 16, 2009, with the Secretary of the Missouri Public Service Commission, P.O.
