PR-08-87 -- PSC Sets Intervention Deadline In AmerenUE Request To Establish Infrastructure Surcharge

JEFFERSON CITY—Union Electric Company d/b/a AmerenUE has filed an application with the Missouri Public Service Commission seeking to place an infrastructure system replacement surcharge (ISRS) on the natural gas bills of its customers.
AmerenUE is seeking the ISRS to reflect infrastructure replacements made by the natural gas company for the period of October 1, 2006 through October 31, 2007. These costs for natural gas pipeline replacements and relocations are not currently included in AmerenUE’s rates. Residential customers would pay a surcharge of 74 cents a month under AmerenUE’s proposal.
Applications to intervene and participate in this case must be filed no later than December 24, 2007, with the Secretary of the Missouri Public Service Commission, P.O.
