PSC Sets Intervention Deadline in Missouri-American Request to Purchase Meramec Sewer
JEFFERSON CITY---Missouri-American Water Company (MAWC) and Meramec Sewer Company (Meramec) have filed a joint application with the Missouri Public Service Commission seeking Commission approval for MAWC to purchase substantially all of Meramec’s sewer assets.
Applications to intervene and participate in this case must be filed no later than November 26, 2012, with the Secretary of the Missouri Public Service Commission, P.O. Box 360, Jefferson City, Missouri 65102.

MAWC serves approximately 450,000 water customers and 3,200 sewer customers in Missouri. Meramec provides sewer service to approximately 992 sewer customers in Jefferson County near Fenton, Missouri.
