PSC Sets Intervention Deadline In Water Territorial Agreement Case
JEFFERSON CITY---The City of Chillicothe and Public Water Supply District #2 of Livingston County have filed a joint application with the Missouri Public Service Commission seeking Commission approval of a water territorial agreement.
The territorial agreement designates the boundaries for each water supplier near Chillicothe. According to the joint application, the territorial agreement will avoid the duplication of services and the expenditure of unnecessary costs and expenses and it is intended to facilitate the parties in working cooperatively in order to provide potable water to the residents of the City of Chillicothe and Public Water Supply District #2 of Livingston County.
Applications to intervene and participate in this case must be filed no later than November 7, 2012, with the Secretary of the Missouri Public Service Commission, P.O.
