PSC Sets Intervention Deadline In Water And Sewer System Sale Case
JEFFERSON CITY---The Missouri-American Water Company (MAWC) and Emerald Pointe Utility Company (Emerald Pointe) have filed a joint application with the Missouri Public Service Commission seeking Commission authority for Emerald Pointe to sell substantially all of its water and sewer system assets to MAWC.
Applications to intervene and participate in these cases must be filed no later than November 18, 2013,
with the Secretary of the Missouri Public Service Commission, P.O. Box 360, Jefferson City, Missouri 65102 or by using the Commission’s Electronic Filing and Information System (EFIS) at www.psc.mo.gov

MAWC provides service to approximately 454,000 water customers and approximately 4,000 sewer customers in Missouri. Emerald Pointe serves approximately 389 water customers and 364 sewer customers in Taney County near Hollister, Missouri.
