PSC Sets Intervention Deadline In Raccoon Creek Utility Request To Purchase Three Sewer Systems

JEFFERSON CITY---West 16th Street Sewer Company, W.P.C. Sewer Company, Village Water and Sewer Company, Inc. and Raccoon Creek Utility Operating Company, Inc. have filed a joint application with the Missouri Public Service Commission seeking Commission authority for Raccoon Creek Utility Operating Company, Inc. to purchase substantially all of the sewer assets of West 16th Street Sewer Company, Village Water and Sewer Company, Inc. and W.P.C. Sewer Company.
Applications to intervene and participate in this case must be filed no later than August 11, 2014, with the Secretary of the Missouri Public Service Commission, P.O. Box 360, Jefferson City, Missouri 65102-0360, or by using the Commission’s Electronic Filing and Information System (EFIS) at www.psc.mo.gov .

West 16th Street Sewer Company currently provides sewer service to approximately 149 customers in Pettis County near Sedalia, Missouri.  W.P.C. Sewer Company provides sewer service to approximately 68 customers in Pettis County near Sedalia, Missouri.  Village Water and Sewer Company, Inc. serves approximately 240 sewer customers in Johnson County near Knob Noster, Missouri.
