PSC Grants Certificate In Central Rivers Sewer Case
JEFFERSON CITY---The Missouri Public Service Commission has approved an application filed by Central Rivers Wastewater Utility, Inc. (Central Rivers) for a certificate of convenience and necessity to construct, own and operate a sewer system in Clinton County. The certificate of convenience and necessity authorizes Central Rivers to provide sewer service to the Country Hills Estates Subdivision located in Clinton County near Cameron, Missour.
The Public Service Commission Staff reviewed the application filed by Central Rivers and on October 7, 2013, recommended to the Commission that the application be approved, subject to certain conditions.
Based upon a review of the application and the PSC Staff recommendation, the Commission determined the application should be approved.
Central Rivers Wastewater Utility, Inc. currently provides sewer service to approximately 228 customers in Ray and Clay counties.
