PSC Approves Agreement Reached In Seges Partners Mobile Home Park, LLC Sewer Rate Case
JEFFERSON CITY---The Missouri Public Service Commission has approved an agreement which authorizes Seges Partners Mobile Home Park, LLC to increase annual sewer operating revenues by approximately $3,534 for service on and after April 8, 2013. The rate increase is designed to recover the Company’s cost of service.
When the company filed its rate request with the Public Service Commission on September 19, 2012, it sought to increase annual sewer operating revenues by approximately $3,326.
Under the small company rate case process, the PSC staff audits the books and records of the company. After the audit, the PSC staff presented its findings as well as its initial recommendation for resolution of the rate request to the Office of the Public Counsel and the company. Based upon discussions between the PSC staff, the Office of the Public Counsel and Seges Partners Mobile Home Park, LLC, an agreement was reached which was then filed for Commission consideration. The Office of the Public Counsel is a separate state agency which represents the general public in cases before the PSC.
Under the agreement, the monthly sewer bill for a residential customer will increase by approximately $5.82 a month.
Seges Partners Mobile Home Park, LLC provides sewer service to approximately 58 residential customers in a mobile home park located in Callaway County in Holts Summit, Missouri.
