PSC To Hold Local Public Hearings In Laclede Gas Company Rate Case

JEFFERSON CITY---The Missouri Public Service Commission will hold six local public hearings in a natural gas rate case filed by Laclede Gas Company.  The local public hearing schedule appears below.
June 3, 2013—St. Louis.  University of Missouri-St. Louis, Millennium Student Center, Century Rooms A & B, One University Drive.  A PSC staff public information/question and answer session starts at 12:00 p.m., with the taking of sworn statements to follow.
June 3, 2013—St. Louis.  Harris-Stowe State University, Emerson Performance Center, Bank of America Theater, 3101 Laclede Ave.  A PSC staff public information/question and answer session starts at 6:00 p.m., with the taking of sworn statements to follow.
June 4, 2013—Kirkwood.  St. Louis Community College, Meramec Campus, Business Administration Bldg., Room 105, 11333 Big Bend Blvd.  A PSC staff public information/question and answer session starts at 12:00 p.m., with the taking of sworn statements to follow.
June 4, 2013—Crystal City.  Crystal City High School Auditorium, 1100 Mississippi Ave.  A PSC staff public information/question and answer session starts at 6:00 p.m., with the taking of sworn statements to follow.
June 17, 2013—St. Charles.  St. Charles Administration Bldg., Rooms 115-116, 201 N. Second Street.  A PSC staff public information/question and answer session starts at 12:00 p.m., with the taking of sworn statements to follow.
June 17, 2013—St. Louis.  St. Louis County Library, Thornhill Branch Auditorium, 12863 Willowyck Drive.  A PSC staff public information/question and answer session starts at 6:00 p.m., with the taking of sworn statements to follow.

On December 21, 2012, Laclede Gas Company filed a natural gas rate case with the Missouri Public Service Commission.  Laclede seeks to increase annual natural gas operating revenues by approximately $58.4 million, of which approximately $14.8 million is already being recovered in rates through Laclede’s Infrastructure System Replacement Surcharge (ISRS), resulting in a net increase of approximately $43.6 million.  For the average residential customer, the proposed increase would be approximately $4.34 a month.

Laclede Gas Company provides natural gas service to approximately 630,000 customers in the City of St. Louis as well as the Missouri counties of St. Louis, St. Charles, Butler, Iron, Franklin, Jefferson, Madison, Crawford, St. Francois and Ste. Genevieve.
