PSC Approves Missouri Gas Energy's Request To Adjust Infrastructure Surcharge
JEFFERSON CITY---The Missouri Public Service Commission has approved a request filed by Missouri Gas Energy (MGE) to adjust the infrastructure system replacement surcharge (ISRS) on the bills of its natural gas customers.
The ISRS adjustment reflects infrastructure replacement investments made by the natural gas company since June 2012. These costs for natural gas pipeline replacements and relocations are not currently included in MGE’s rates.
The current ISRS for residential customers is $0.69 a month. As a result of this filing, the ISRS will be adjusted and residential customers will pay $0.96 a month effective May 15, 2013.
MGE provides natural gas service to approximately 500,000 customers in Missouri.
