PSC Approves Ameren Missouri Request To Adjust Infrastructure Surcharge
JEFFERSON CITY---The Missouri Public Service Commission has approved a request filed by Union Electric Company d/b/a Ameren Missouri to change the Infrastructure System Replacement Surcharge (ISRS) on the bills of its natural gas customers. The surcharge first appeared on customer bills in April 2008.
Ameren Missouri sought the adjustment to reflect infrastructure replacement investments made by the natural gas company since January 1, 2011. The costs for these natural gas pipeline replacements and relocations are not currently included in Ameren Missouri’s rates.
Residential customers currently pay an ISRS surcharge of $0.00 a month. As a result of this filing, residential customers will pay an ISRS of $0.75 a month.
Ameren Missouri serves approximately 126,800 natural gas customers in Missouri.
