Public Hearings

The PSC encourages consumers to express their views, opinions and concerns about the case filed by the company or bring any service-related problems to the attention of the Commission at any of the following scheduled local public hearings. 

 

UPCOMING LOCAL PUBLIC HEARINGS 
Local Public Hearings will begin with a question and answer session followed by an opportunity to testify in front of the Commission. See scheduled hearings and the link below for more information on how to participate. 
To ensure broad participation and the ability for every citizen to offer comments, comments may be time limited.
Ameren Missouri Certificate of Convenience and Necessity (CCN) Case

Case No.  EA-2026-0183  -  In the Matter of the Application of Union Electric Company d/b/a Ameren Missouri for Permission and Approval and Certificates of Public Convenience and Necessity Authorizing it to Construct Renewable Generation Facilities and Battery Energy Storage Systems

Location: Moscow Mills Lions Club, 30 Freise Industrial Drive, Moscow Mills, Missouri 

This in-person local public hearing will be held in a facility that meets the accessibility requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act. Any person who needs additional accommodations to participate in any of these hearings should call the PSC’s hotline at 1-800-392-4211 or TDD Hotline at 1-800-829-7541 before the hearings.

If you are unable to attend a local public hearing and wish to make written comments, you may do so by submitting them in writing to the PSC at P.O. Box 360, Jefferson City, Missouri 65102, or by using the Commission’s online comment form at  https://psc.mo.gov/General/Submit_Comments  . When submitting comments, please use related submission No. ER-2026-0143.

In addition, you may also provide comments or request additional information from the Office of the Public Counsel (Governor Office Building, P.O. Box 2230, Jefferson City, Missouri 65102-2230, telephone 1-866-922-2959 (toll-free) or 573-751-4857, email  opcservice@opc.mo.gov  ). The Office of the Public Counsel is a separate state agency that represents the general public in matters before the Commission.

 

Evergy Metro Certificate of Convenience and Necessity (CCN) Case
Case No. EA-2026-0154 , In the Matter of the Application of Evergy Metro, Inc. d/b/a Evergy Missouri Metro for Permission and Approval of a Certificate of Convenience and Necessity Authorizing It to Construct, Install, Own, Operate, Manage, Maintain, and Control a Natural Gas Electrical Production Facility

To attend the virtual local public hearing by telephone, at the time of the hearing call 1-650-479-3207 , listen to the prompt and enter the meeting number/access code 2865 168 3047 , followed by # (pound/hashtag symbol). If prompted for a password, enter 0154.

To attend a virtual local public hearing by video/internet visit the website at www.webex.com or download the Cisco Webex Meetings application. At hearing time, enter the meeting number/access code 2865 168 3047 and password 0154.
