Hearing Dates Set In Ameren Missouri Case
JEFFERSON CITY—The Missouri Public Service Commission is scheduled to hold formal evidentiary hearings starting on March 31, 2014, in the Ameren Missouri Labadie case. Hearings, to be held in Room 310 of the Governor Office Building, 200 Madison Street, Jefferson City, are scheduled to continue April 1-2, 2014.
In January 2013, Ameren Missouri filed an application with the Missouri Public Service Commission seeking a certificate of convenience and necessity from the Commission to expand the boundaries of its Labadie Energy Center to permit the construction and operation of a utility waste landfill.
Formal evidentiary hearings in this case were originally scheduled for November 12-14, 2013. On October 25, 2013, at the request of the parties in this case, the Commission indefinitely suspended the procedural schedule and cancelled the November hearings. The Commission took the action to allow Ameren Missouri time to file a revised application with the Missouri Department of Natural Resources.
On January 8, 2014, Ameren Missouri filed a motion asking the Commission to adopt a revised procedural schedule which calls for hearings beginning March 31. Ameren Missouri indicated that all parties in the case agreed with the revised procedural schedule.
