PSC To Hold Local Public Hearing In Riverside In Kansas City Power & Light Company And KCP&L-Greater Missouri Operations Company Electric Rate Cases
The Missouri Public Service Commission will hold a local public hearing in Riverside on September 12, 2012, in electric rate cases filed by Kansas City Power & Light Company and KCP&L Greater Missouri Operations Company. The local public hearing schedule appears below.
September 12—Riverside. Riverside City Hall, Aldermen Chambers, 2950 N.W. Vivion Road. A PSC staff public information/question and answer session starts at 6:00 p.m. with the taking of sworn testimony to follow.
This local public hearing will be held in a facility that meets the accessibility requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act. On February 27, 2012, KCP&L Greater Missouri Operations Company filed a rate case with the Missouri Public Service Commission seeking to increase annual electric revenues by approximately $58.3 million (10.9%) in the MPS area and by $25.2 million (14.6%) in the L&P area. KCP&L Greater Missouri Operations Company provides electric service to approximately 309,200 customers in Missouri.
Also on February 27, 2012, Kansas City Power & Light Company filed a rate case with the Missouri Public Service Commission seeking to increase annual electric revenues by approximately $105.7 million (15.1%).
Kansas City Power & Light Company provides electric service to approximately 270,000 customers in Missouri.
