PSC Sets Intervention Deadline In Electric Transmission Line Case
JEFFERSON CITY---Union Electric Company d/b/a Ameren Missouri has filed an application with the Missouri Public Service Commission seeking Commission authority to install, own, operate and maintain a 345,000-volt overhead electric transmission line in Cape Girardeau County.
According to the application, the transmission line is part of a larger project that includes the construction of a new substation, the Heritage Substation, located west of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, and upgrades to the existing Lutesville, Wedekind and Cape Girardeau substations. In addition, the project includes the construction of approximately two miles of a 161,000-volt line.
Applications to intervene and participate in this case must be filed no later than January 2, 2013, with the Secretary of the Missouri Public Service Commission, P.O. Box 360, Jefferson City, Missouri 65102, or by using the Commission’s electronic filing and information service (EFIS).
