PSC Sets Intervention Deadline In Ameren Missouri Request To Adjust Infrastructure Surcharge
JEFFERSON CITY---Union Electric Company d/b/a Ameren Missouri has filed an application with the Missouri Public Service Commission seeking to change the Infrastructure System Replacement Surcharge (ISRS) on the bills of its natural gas customers. The surcharge first appeared on customer bills in April 2008.
Ameren Missouri seeks the adjustment to reflect infrastructure replacement investments made by the natural gas company from January 1, 2011 through May 31, 2013. The costs for these natural gas pipeline replacements and relocations are not currently included in Ameren Missouri’s rates.
Residential customers currently pay an ISRS surcharge of $0.00 a month. Ameren Missouri’s proposal would change the ISRS surcharge to $0.79 a month.
Applications to intervene and participate in this case must be filed no later than August 8, 2013, with the Secretary of the Missouri Public Service Commission, P.O. Box 360, Jefferson City, Missouri 65102, or by using the Commission’s electronic filing and information service (EFIS).
Individual citizens wishing to comment should contact either the Office of the Public Counsel (Governor Office Building, 200 Madison Street, Suite 650, P.O. Box 2230, Jefferson City, Missouri 65102-2230, telephone (866) 922-2959, e-mail email@example.com
) or the Public Service Commission Staff (P.O. Box 360, Jefferson City, Missouri 65102, telephone 1-800-392-4211, e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org
). The Office of the Public Counsel is a separate state agency that represents the general public in matters before the Commission.
