ORDER APPROVING COMPLIANCE TARIFF

The Commission issued a Report and Order on May 19, 2016, authorizing Missouri Gas Energy (“MGE”), an operating unit of Laclede Gas Company to submit a tariff sheet to adjust its Infrastructure System Replacement Surcharge (“ISRS”). That same day, MGE filed a tariff sheet (Tariff No. YG-2016-0327) to comply with the Commission’s Report and Order. The tariff sheet set a June 18 effective date, but MGE requested the Commission approve a May 31 effective date.

On May 23, the Staff of the Commission filed a recommendation stating that the rates in MGE’s tariff sheet comply with those authorized in the Commission’s Report and Order. Staff also recommended the Commission approve MGE’s ISRS tariff sheet to go into effect on May 31.

The Commission issued an order setting a May 26 deadline for the filing of objections to MGE’s request for a May 31 effective date. No objections were received. The Commission finds MGE’s tariff sheet complies with the Commission’s May 19 Report and Order and will approve it. Since May 31 coincides with the deadline for an effective date for a Commission order on MGE’s application,[1] no parties objected to the request for expedited treatment or presented evidence of harm due to an earlier  effective date, the Commission finds good cause exists to allow MGE’s compliance tariff to go into effect in less than thirty days.

THE COMMISSION ORDERS THAT:

1.            The following tariff filed on May 19, 2016, by Missouri Gas Energy, an Operating Unit of Laclede Gas Company and assigned Tariff No. YG-2016-0327, is approved to become effective on May 31, 2016:

2.            This order shall be effective on May 31, 2016.

3.            This file shall be closed on June 18, 2016.
