ORDER DIRECTING NOTICE, SETTING INTERVENTION DEADLINE, AND DIRECTING FILING OF STAFF RECOMMENDATION

On April 27, 2016, Union Electric Company d/b/a Ameren Missouri (“Ameren Missouri”) filed an application with the Missouri Public Service Commission (“Commission”) for a certificate of convenience and necessity authorizing it to construct, install, own, operate, maintain and otherwise control and manage various small solar generation facilities at different locations within its service territory as part of a pilot program.

The Commission will give notice of the application to potentially interested parties and will set an intervention deadline.  The Commission will direct its Staff to investigate and file a recommendation regarding the application. 

THE COMMISSION ORDERS THAT:

1.  The Commission’s Data Center shall provide notice of this order and the application to the parties to Union Electric Company d/b/a Ameren Missouri’s most recent rate case, File Number ER-2014-0258. 

2.  The Commission’s Public Policy and Outreach Department shall make notice of this order available to the media in the service area of Union Electric Company                       d/b/a Ameren Missouri and to the members of the General Assembly representing that service area.

3.  Any person or entity wishing to intervene in this matter shall file an application no later than May 20, 2016 with:

4.        The Staff of the Missouri Public Service Commission shall investigate and file a report and recommendation regarding the application no later than June 23, 2016.

5.        This order shall be effective when issued.
