NOTICE OF LOCAL PUBLIC HEARINGS

On September 28, 2015, the Commission issued notice of local public hearings.  These hearings involve a proposed transmission line that goes through counties other than the counties in which the hearings will be held.  Thus, the Commission will reissue public notice of the hearings to those counties in which the line is proposed, but which did not previously receive notice.

 

THE COMMISSION ORDERS THAT:

1.               The Commission shall hold a local public hearing on Monday, October 19, 2015, beginning at 6 p.m. and continuing until all persons who wish to testify have done so, in the Gymnasium, North Shelby High School, 3071 Highway 15, Shelbyville, Missouri. 

2.               The Commission shall hold a local public hearing on Monday, October 26, 2015, beginning at 6 p.m. and continuing until all persons who wish to testify have done so, in the Multipurpose Room, Schuyler County R-1 Elementary School, 21701 U.S. Highway 63, Queen City, Missouri. 

3.               The Commission shall hold a local public hearing on Tuesday, October 27, 2015, beginning at 6 p.m. and continuing until all persons who wish to testify have done so, in Student Union Activities Room 3200, Truman State University, 901 South Franklin Street, Kirksville, Missouri. 

4.               The Commission’s Data Center shall serve a copy of this order upon the county commissions of Marion and Knox counties.

5.               The Commission’s Public Information Office shall make notice of this order available to the members of the General Assembly representing Marion and Knox Counties, and to the news media serving therein.

6.               This order shall be effective when issued.
