On February 6, 2015, Melanie and James Coney filed a complaint with the Missouri Public Service Commission against KCP&L Greater Missouri Operations Company (“GMO”). On July 28, 2015, Melanie and James Coney filed a pleading with the Commission stating that all parties have reached a mutually acceptable settlement outside of these proceedings and requesting that the Commission dismiss their complaint against GMO.
Commission Rule 4 CSR
240-2.116(1) states that a complainant may dismiss a complaint only by order of
the Commission after prepared testimony or oral evidence has been offered. Melanie and James Coney filed direct
testimony on June 26, 2015. The
Commission concludes that the request to dismiss the complaint is reasonable
and will grant that request.
THE COMMISSION ORDERS THAT:
1.
The
complaint filed by Melanie and James Coney on February 6, 2015, is dismissed.
2.
This order
will be effective on August 8, 2015.
3.
This case
may be closed on August 9, 2015.
