ORDER DIRECTING ADJUSTMENT OF ACA BALANCE

 

Issue Date:  July 29, 2015                                      Effective Date:  August 28, 2015

 

The Commission’s Staff filed a recommendation on the actual cost adjustment (“ACA”) of Union Electric Company d/b/a Ameren Missouri (“Ameren”) for the period ending August 31, 2014.[1] The recommendation addresses monetary adjustment of those balances (“adjustments”) and discusses other practices. Ameren filed a response[2] agreeing with the adjustments and discussing the other practices. Staff filed a reply[3] seeking an order closing this file after requiring Ameren to make the adjustments, which are as follows.

No hearing is required[4] to make an unopposed[5] order, so this action is not a contested case,[6] and the Commission need not separately state its findings of fact. Based on the verified filings, the Commission finds and concludes that the recommended adjustments support safe and adequate service, at just and reasonable rates. Therefore, the Commission will order Ameren to make the adjustments.

THE COMMISSION ORDERS THAT:

1.     Union Electric Company d/b/a Ameren Missouri Ameren shall adjust its actual cost adjustment (“ACA”) balances and incorporate those balances into its next ACA filing, as described in the body of this order.

2.     This order shall become effective on August 28, 2015.

3.     This file shall close on August 31, 2015.
