ORDER DIRECTING FILING

Issue Date:  March 25, 2015                                   Effective Date:  March 25, 2015

On February 20, 2015, Ameren Transmission Company of Illinois (“ATXI”) asked the Commission to either find that it does not have jurisdiction over this project or, in the alternative, to grant ATXI a certificate of convenience and necessity to build it.  The Commission provided notice and set a deadline for applications to intervene.  The Commission received timely intervention requests from United for Missouri, Inc., and Missouri Industrial Energy Consumers, which the Commission granted.

The Commission notes that ATXI requests the Commission to rule on this application no later than April 30, 2015.  Thus, the Commission will order its Staff to file a recommendation or an alternative pleading on how it believes the Commission should proceed.

THE COMMISSION ORDERS THAT:

1.               The Staff of the Commission shall respond as ordered above no later than April 6, 2015.

2.               This order shall be effective when issued.
