ORDER SETTING DEADLINE FOR OBJECTIONS TO APPLICATION FOR WAIVER

On January 26, 2015, The Empire District Electric Company (“Empire”) filed an Application for Waiver, requesting a partial waiver of Commission Rule 4 CSR 240-3.161(3). Empire is seeking a waiver of the heat rate testing and reporting requirements for its Asbury Unit 1. Empire states that a heat rate test on Asbury Unit 1 will be performed as soon as feasible following the completion of a planned outage and a period of tuning and testing of a new air quality control system.

The Commission will set a deadline for the filing of objections to Empire’s application.

 

THE COMMISSION ORDERS THAT:

1.               Objections to Empire’s Application for Waiver shall be filed no later than February 4, 2015.

 

 

 

2.               This order shall be effective when issued.
