NOTICE OF DISMISSAL AND ORDER CANCELING HEARING, CLOSING FILE

On May 6, 2014, Kasey Caves filed a complaint with the Missouri Public Service Commission against The Empire District Electric Company.  An evidentiary hearing was scheduled for September 25, 2014 in Joplin, Missouri.

On September 24, 2014, Ms. Caves provided written notice that she wanted to dismiss the hearing. Commission Rule 4 CSR 240-2.116(1) permits the voluntary dismissal of a complaint prior to a hearing. Notice is hereby given of Ms. Caves’ voluntary dismissal of her compalint. The Commission will cancel the scheduled hearing and close the file.

THE COMMISSION ORDERS THAT:

1.               The evidentiary hearing in this matter, currently scheduled for 12:00 p.m. on September 25, 2014, is canceled.

2.               The Commission’s Data Center shall mail a copy of this order to Complainant.

3.               This file will close on September 25, 2014.

4.               This order shall become effective upon issuance.
