ORDER SCHEDULING A CONFERENCE

Issue Date:  April 16, 2014                                               Effective Date:  April 16, 2014

On April 16, 2014, the Staff of the Commission filed a motion asking the Commission to schedule what it describes as an emergency conference to consider concerns the Staff has about the surrebuttal testimony filed by Kansas City Power & Light Company on April 14.  Staff asks that the conference be held no later than April 18, as the hearing is set to begin on April 28.

The Commission will schedule a procedural conference as requested by Staff.  Scheduling the conference should not be taken as an endorsement by the Commission of the concerns raised by Staff.  Nor is it an indication that the Commission intends to grant the relief sought by Staff.  Rather, the Commission is merely offering a forum for further discussion.

THE COMMISSION ORDERS THAT:

1.       A procedural conference is scheduled for April 18, 2014, at 10:00 a.m., at the Commission’s office at the Governor Office Building, 200 Madison Street, Jefferson City, Missouri, Room 305.  This building meets accessibility standards required by the Americans with Disabilities Act.  If you need additional accommodations to participate in this conference, please call the Public Service Commission’s Hotline at 1‑800‑392-4211 (voice) or Relay Missouri at 711 before the conference.

2.       Any person wishing to participate in the conference by phone may do so by calling 877-820-7831 and entering access code 80088928#

3.       This order shall become effective upon issuance.
