PROPOSED PROCEDURAL SCHEDULE
Issue Date: September 11, 2013 Effective Date: September 11, 2013
On September 10, 2013, Kansas City Power & Light Company (KCP&L) filed the above-referenced application and revised tariff sheet under HB 142; which amends Section 393.1030, RSMO. KCP&L greater Missouri Operations filed a similar request,[1] which is set for hearing on October 3 and 4, 2013. KCP&L requests that parties to that case be made parties to this case without having to file an application to intervene. The revised Section requires the Commission to rule on this application within 60 days. The Commission realizes that setting a period to allow for interventions will hamper completion of this matter within the time frame required under the amended section. The Commission will therefore grant intervention to all parties in File No. ET-2014-0059.
KCP&L also proposes a procedural schedule that is similar in time frame to the procedural schedule in File No. ET-2014-0059. The Commission will approve the proposed schedule. However, The Commission must dispose of this matter no later than Saturday, November 9, 2013. In order to preserve due time for the Commission to consider this case after its submission, the Commission will shorten the time by which the parties must file briefs.
THE COMMISSION ORDERS THAT:
1. All parties in Commission File No. ET-2014-0059 are granted intervention in this matter.

3. An evidentiary hearing shall be held on October 10-11, 2013, beginning at 8:30 a.m. each day, in room 305 of the Governor Office Building, 200 Madison Street, Jefferson City, Missouri. The hearing will be held in a building that meets accessibility standards required by the Americans with Disabilities Act. If you need additional accommodations to participate in this public hearing, please call the Public Service Commission’s Hotline at 1 800-392-4211 (voice) or Relay Missouri at 711 prior to the hearing.
