ORDER EXTENDING TIME FOR POSITION STATEMENTS

Issue Date: April 9, 2013                                                     Effective Date: April 9, 2013

The Missouri Public Service Commission is granting the parties’ Joint Request for Extension of Time for Filing Statement of Positions (“motion”), filed on April 9.[1]

The parties have already sought and received several extensions to refine the issues and explore the possibilities for settlement as set forth in the Commission’s orders dated March 29. The Commission presumes that the parties have used the extended time to articulate the relief they seek on the applications[2] and the law and fact supporting that relief. Nevertheless, delaying position statements reduces the Commission’s time to prepare for hearing. Therefore, the Commission will grant the motion as follows.

In addition to anything else each party includes in its position statement, each party shall state any relief it wants the Commission to order, cite legal authority for such relief, and allege facts relevant under that authority with references to pre-filed testimony.

THE COMMISSION ORDERS THAT:

1.     The Joint Request for Extension of Time for Filing Statement of Positions is granted.

2.     Each party shall file a position statement as described in the body of this order no later than 5:00 p.m. on April 11, 2013.

3.     This order is effective immediately upon issuance.

                                                                              BY THE COMMISSION
