ORDER GRANTING REQUEST TO POSTPONE TERMINATION AND DIRECTING FILING OF STAFF RECOMMENDATION

          On November 7, 2012, Allegiance Communications, LLC filed a Notice of Change Application to notify the Commission of their decision to cease providing video services in the communities of Plattsburg, Dearborn, Camden Point, Braymer, Maysville, Gower, Seligman and Washburn, Missouri.  The Commission granted Allegiance authorization to provide video service in the State of Missouri in File Number KA-2011-0122.

On December 5, 2013, Allegiance filed a request to postpone the termination of the above-listed political subdivisions.  On March 26, 2013, Allegiance Communications, LLC, filed a status report indicating the Company will continue to serve Rushville, Missouri, but would like to renew their request to postpone termination of Gower, Maysville and Plattsburg, Missouri.  Allegiance also indicated the termination of the remaining Video Service Authorizations would be acceptable.

For the reasons stated in Allegiance Communications’ March 26, 2013 request, the Commission will grant the Company’s request to postpone the termination of the Company’s video service authorizations for Gower, Maysville and Plattsburg, Missouri. 

The Commission will direct its Staff to file a recommendation concerning the termination of the remaining video service authorizations.

THE COMMISSION ORDERS THAT:

1.               No later than September 26, 2013, Allegiance Communications shall file a status report concerning the Gower, Maysville and Plattsburg, Missouri political subdivisions.

2.               The Staff of the Commission shall, no later than April 4, 2013, file its recommendation.

3.                This order shall become effective immediately upon issuance.
