NOTICE OF DEFICIENCY

          On December 26, 2013, Velocity The Greatest Phone Company Ever, Inc. filed a Notification Letter for registration to provide statewide interconnected voice over Internet protocol service.  Velocity’s application was not complete in that the letter filed is not sufficient as an application, and failed to contain a signed affidavit pursuant to §392.550, RSMo.  In addition, Velocity’s letter is signed by Lance J.M. Steinhart, Attorney at Law, who is not identified as an attorney licensed to practice law in Missouri.

          Pursuant to 4 CSR 240-2.080(2), pleadings filed with the Commission must be signed by at least one attorney of record authorized to practice law in Missouri. 

          Velocity’s filing is deficient and the Commission will not take action on this application until this deficiency is corrected.  The Commission will leave the file open until January 16, 2014, to allow Velocity to correct the deficiency.  If no response is

 

filed by that time, the Commission will reject the application and close the file.
