NOTICE OF FINDING OF NECESSITY

Over the past several years, the Manufactured Housing Staff has been working with the manufactured housing industry to prepare amendments to the Commissionís manufactured housing rules to improve the rulesí provisions regarding installation and monthly reporting requirements.Staff has now asked the Commission to promulgate those amendments.

The Commission finds that the subject rule amendments are necessary to carry out the purposes of Section 700.040(5), RSMo 2000, the statutory provision that gives the Commission authority to promulgate rules regarding Manufactured housing.The Commission will proceed with the formal rulemaking process mandated by Missouri law.
