CORRECTION
Issue Date: March 5, 2013
On February 27, 2013, the Commission issued its Order Approving Unanimous Disposition Agreement and Approving Tariff. In that order, the Commission made note of several conditions upon which the parties agreed. The last two points are stated as follows:
· The company’s rates resulting from the Agreement will include an amount of $22,850 for sludge hauling expense; of note: the company pays the city of Byrnes Mill to haul sludge.
· Within 90 days of the effective date of this order, the company shall implement Staff’s recommendations concerning alternatives for sewage treatment in an effort to reduce the cost of sludge hauling.
These points are incorrect. Rather, they should state as follows:
· The company’s rates resulting from the Agreement will include an amount of $22,850 for sludge hauling expense.
· Within 90 days of the effective date of this order, the company shall implement Staff’s recommendations concerning alternatives for sewage treatment in an effort to reduce such cost. The company pays the city of Byrnes Mill to treat its sewage.
As reflected in the corrected points, the company pays the city of Byrnes Mill to treat its sewage, not to haul sludge.
